Story & Style
Washington DC & Baltimore Maryland Documentary Wedding Photographer
I love the moments that happen naturally.
But I also know how to create a stunning photograph.
Finding the light. Choosing the location. Giving you direction. Making something dramatic, weird, beautiful, romantic or completely unexpected.
You don't need to know how to pose. You don't need to be comfortable in front of a camera. And we don't need to disappear for an hour to make great portraits. Give me a little time, a little trust, and let's make something worth putting on the wall.
You don't have to know what you're doing.
That's my job.
I'll tell you where to stand, what to do with your hands, where to look and when to ignore me completely. Sometimes we'll chase good light. Sometimes I'll move you three feet because I see something better. Sometimes we'll have an idea going in and sometimes we'll make it up on the spot.
You just have to be willing to play along.
How much time do we need for portraits?
Usually, not nearly as much as you think.
I'm not interested in turning your wedding into an eight-hour photoshoot. We'll build portrait time into your timeline, get what we need, and get you back to your people. And if the light suddenly gets ridiculous later? I may steal you for five minutes.
Let’s make something incredible!
See what we have been up to lately…
Like what you see?
You don't need to have everything figured out yet. Tell me what you're planning, where you're getting married, and whatever you know so far.
I'll take it from there.
