“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”
– Aaron Siskind

What I love about Washington DC Elopements

  1. The unlimited amount of locations you can say your vows at. Whether you want to say I do in front of one of the many National Monuments, in a park with cherry blossom trees, surrounded by art, or by the water. There is a location and a look for every couple.

  2. You can officiate your own ceremony. No need to find an officiant. You can officiate your own Ceremony and have just the two of you sign the marriage license.

  3. Sunrise at the Lincoln Memorial is my favorite time of day to photograph. The sun comes right up behind the Washington Monument- It’s best in the fall but amazing year round!

  4. I am your photographer, planner, and chauffeur for the day. Which I love because it really gives me a chance to get to know you!

DC Elopement Recommendations

  1. Sunrise in DC was spectacular- both for light and because it’s the only time of day when it is quiet - before the tourists arrive. The only con is sometimes we have to start our day at 4:30am!

  2. Combine the DC Memorials with unique spots around DC. Not sure where to go- let me know some of your favorites places/what you like to do and I will plan it for you.

  3. Add in getting ready photos it helps tell the story of your day. We can do these at a hotel, your home, or even onsite.

  4. Include a “celebration” . Bring champagne/sparkling cider and a dessert to celebrate the day. It makes it more fun than just vows and done.

  5. You can self officiate or have a friend/family member. If you do this we can still have a private moment with the two of you for your vows.
