You love my work… So, now it’s time to make sure you love me as much! We will be spending the most time together during your wedding planning process. It is very important to me that I form a connection with my couples. This not only helps make you more comfortable in front of my camera but also helps you to have a better wedding experience overall.

I like to meet my couples in person. We can grab a beer at a local brewery in Frederick or coffee if that is more your thing. Life is busy so if you can’t meet in person we can also do a Zoom call! Plan on at least 1 hour for a call 1-2 hours in person. Depending on how chatty we get :)

At our meeting we will talk about your wedding day. I will ask you some general questions about how you envision your day and then I will take that information and build your timeline. I will put together a full timeline for you that includes when you need to get ready, best time for your ceremony, and when we need to take photos. You can send this timeline to all future vendors so that we are all on the same page. I always build in buffer time just in case things run late.

The two of you decided we are the perfect fit. I will put together a digital contract for you. Once you sign and pay the non refundable retainer of $1500 your wedding date is held. Payment can be made through check or venmo.

We will start planning your engagement session when we meet. We will talk about places that mean something to you. Places you love to go or maybe always wanted to go. Once we pick the locations we will go over what to wear and dates. Engagement photos are edited and ready for you 2-3 weeks after the session.

If your location is within a 1 hour drive from where I live we can meet up at the venue for a full walkthrough. I typically do this 2 weeks out from the wedding day. During the walk through we will talk about changes to your timeline, and your must have photos. After I get your list I will add them to your timeline so that we know when the must have photos will be taken. If we can’t meet at the venue we can do this over drinks or over Zoom.

I always arrive a minimum of 30 minutes early to every wedding. We will follow your timeline and watch the day unfold. You will blink and the day will be over. But be assured, I will capture all those little moments to help bring the day back to life every time you look at them.

After the wedding keep an eye on my instagram (@loveandadventurephoto) sneak peeks will start popping up 2 weeks after your wedding. In 4-6 weeks your full wedding gallery will be ready for you to download and share with all your friends and family. You images will be on this website for 2 years.

I can’t tell you how many people contacted me last year from all the way back in 2009 that their computer died and they lost all their photos. Fortunately, I back things up on hard drives and was able to get all those people back their memories. A wedding album is a great investment in that it is something you can hold in your hand whenever you want to remember that day, or the people you were with on that day. You can use your website to pick the photos that you want for your album. Once you select the photos I will design the album. We will go over the album design together. Once you approve the design I will order the album and you can pay for it at that time.

I form a pretty tight bond with my couples. I love to hear what you are up to, meet new family members, or we can just grab a drink. Once the wedding is over you graduate from client to friend.
