Blackwater Falls - West Virginia- Summer Elopement Photography
My absolute favorite adventure location to photograph elopements and intimate weddings within 2.5 hours of Washington DC is Blackwater Falls. I also highly recommend pairing this location with a stay at the Hillbilly Hotel. Trust me it’s amazing! This couple eloped in August during the perseids (meteor shower that fills the sky with shooting stars). We wanted to make sure we got to see them so we did their night and sunset photos the night before since the weather was looking a little shady for the day of their elopement. Of course as it always is in Blackwater Falls everything here was amazing!
