“I opened up the photos in the middle of the grocery store and just started crying. They were exactly what we wanted! “ - Bride - Oct 2025

This couple wanted to create a special session that truly told their story. They came in from out of state and were looking for something unique. We started before sunrise with a little jog by the MLK Memorial. After the couple headed to the bathrooms at the Visitors Center across the street to get dressed. The woman’s room light wouldn’t come on so the bride got dressed by cell phone light which added to some really cool photos!

They had a first look right before sunrise across from the Jefferson Memorial. As we were walking out we ran into a group who was praying and they asked if it was ok for them to pray over their marriage. It was such a beautiful moment and one of the reasons I love elopements. We then headed over to the Reflecting Pool for a private moment with their vows and then enjoyed the golden light as we headed over to the National Gallery of Art to join their families for a ceremony. They decided to celebrate with their family afterwards with coffee and donuts. Our adventure continued to Union Station and then ended at Meridian Hill Park. It was the perfect Elopement Day.

Their whole day was covered in 5 hours.
